STIFF COUNTER-DEMANDS. (.Rcc. November 3, 0.10 a.m.) Sydney, Novembej' 2. A considerable section of soldiers aro opposed lo Mr. Hughes's proposal to pay them ii gratuity in non-negotiable bonds. At a meeting in the Domain, four thousand resolved in favour of payment m Ciisii from the date of enlistment, .and also of the release of all A.T.F. prisoners, as well as a ■refund ot' all fine- imposed on soldiers during the war.
