GENERAL SEELY'S OPTIMISM. (Rec. October 31, 1,10 a.m.) London, October 28. General Seely, in the House of Commons. said that the War Office in ths sm-inpr was informed of an urgent demand for large aircraft in Egypt. Three Handler Page squadrons wcro eent by, air in view of the emergency, though necessarily this involved considerable risks. _ Fifty-one departed, and twentysix arrived. Ten were now at tho various stoats en' route, and fifteen had been written otf. The inouiry is still unfinished.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
