FURTHER RESOLUTIONS. The following further resolutions were nasscd hv the annual conference of the Now Zealand Employees' Federation yesterday.— "In tlie opinion of tliis federation the time has now arrived when th»i employers of this Dominion mnsfi rceoenise. that a now order of relationship between particular employers and their worker* must to established, and ro this end it is advisable that such centre elect representatives to constitute a committee to elaborate a schema w'hirli will have for ife object to promote iiidusHaV pence in this Dominion, this committer, to report to a special meetintr of tliis federation within fix *nontlw." "That employer* of waterside Inbou l bs. urged to adopt a system of jierinnneh't employment, on the wharves of Hie Dominion." "The New Zealand Employers' J?«!antHon respectfully protests n-rainst powers being conferred on fae Arbitration Court which shall affect the provision* of the Shops and OfliocT .Act. and also requests tlio Prime Minister of the Dominion to ensure that no amendment to such Act shall be paused by the Legislature until all who may bo aueeleo" thereby have had ft reasonable opportunity of being heard.'' "That conferences in various districts be arranged between employers, employon-:. Labour ]>pi)"tmenr., and Education Department (the Utter rcpyosntw spconflnrv and technical schools) <« discuss and determine what legislation is essential (if any) to govern the control ind employmea't of y.mwg people in trades, professions, and industries." Finally, vntrs of thanks were passed tt> the president ar.d members of the Advisory Board, the secretary, and olh'eo staff for their services during the year, atid, to the Wellington En-plovers' Association for hospitality extended to delegates.
