ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS
Mr. E. W. Hunt (president) occupied tho chair at a well-attended meeting of Iho Wellington Accountant Students' Society on Wednesday, when an interesflng lecture- was delivered bv Mr. H. von Haast, M.A., LL.B., on "Banker and Customor." The lecturer dealt • with the various phases of responsibility attaching to banks and their customers in their relations with one another, as laid down in leading cases. At the conclusion Mr. von Haast answered numerous question!! and was warmly thanked for his address. Amongst the audience were visible from tho local banks, Chambers of Commerco, and other institutions.
