LAWN TENNIS
The annual meeting of the Muritai Tennis Chib was hold on Saturday, a fair number of members being present.' Mr.. H. AV. Shortt occupied the ehair. The report and balance-sheet wore adopted, and thirteen new members were elected. Tho election of officers for the enstring year resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. T. M. AA'ilt'ord (re-elected); president. Mr, H. AV. Shortt (re-elected); vice-presi-dents, Messrs. J. D. Avery, AV. Blackey, P. Levi, J. E. Staples, and A. Walker; committee, Misses 11. Andersen, G. Hanion, C. Ray ward, Messrs. (1. Blackey, and M. Shortt; lion, treasurer, Mr. C. A. Willis; hon. auditor, Mr. T. AV. F. Marsden; lion, secretary, Mr. AV. T. Harbison.
