The attractions of the Catholic bazaar continue to draw.large audiences. In tho tiut-of-war competitions the Petone men were pitted against Hannifin's team in the light-weights, and from previous performances both teams had numerous supporters. Petone gained an inch at the start, wliicli HaimihVs men soon overcame, but not for long, as Petone made a srrcat effort, and swung the indicator round to eix inches, and held it at three. Thenceforward they 6teadily trained, and although llnnnilin's side nulled very pluckily, they made no impression, and Petone, amidst great applause, won by a good six inches. In the heavy-weight contest Daltoh's team had a rather easy win over Glecson's. To-nisrht will see : Herlihy's team v. Petone in the light-weights and Petono v, Clearv's team in the heavy-weight.
