Ivoan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that at the Levin yards on Tuesday they ottered a small entry of sheep, and a good yarding of cattle., t"e bulk of which sold at the following prices: -Ewes and lambs, 595. to 485,: aged storo ewes, 255.; mixed sheep, 305.; cull hoggets, 16s. 9d.; 3-year coloured steers, £7 Mb.; yearling do., £3 to £4; mixed yearlings, £3 12b.; good yearling heifers, £5 lo £5 18s.; Bmull do., £3 Zs. to £4 os.; 2-ycar empty Jersey heifers, £6 9s. to £9 2«. 6J.; registered yearling Jersey heifers, 26 guineas; aged cows and calves, £5 2s. to £6 2s. Set.; forward-condition cowb, £7 Is. to £8 2s. to £9 17s, 6d.; store do., £5 10s.; dairy cow, £11 10s.; springing heifers (small), £7 Wi. to £10 10s.; yearling bull, £6 Us. The N.Z. Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, I/muted, report having held their weekly stuck imlo at Levin on Tuesday, when they offered a good yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle.
