Set.; forward-condition cowb, £7 Is. to £8 2s. to £9 17s, 6d.; store do., £5 10s.; dairy cow, £11 10s.; springing heifers (small), £7 Wi. to £10 10s.; yearling bull, £6 Us. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having held a clearing sale of dairy stock on account Mr. it. Sa'mejf at the farm, Hauterc Cross. Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report that they offered for sale by auction a number of pens of fat «heep exhibited at the Oartertou Show. Generally speaking, the Bheep wero of high quality, and fetched satisfactory prices. Shorn wether's.' oh. account of Mr. A. Clark brought £2 65.; ewe noggets, in the wool, on account of Messrs. Morris and Harper, £2 to £2 7s. 6d.; lambs, on account of Mr. J. Fisher, 265. to 2f)s.; on account of Mr. AV. M. Jury, 245. to 255.
Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, I/muted, report having held their weekly stuck imlo at Levin on Tuesday, when they offered a good yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle. The principal sales effected are aa follow:—i'at hougete, 30a. to 525.; owes with lamba, 395. to 415.; m.s. hoggcta, 22a.
