Labour Day was celebrated at To Kuiti by a fancy dress procession in the morning, followed by a fire brigade competition, the events in which the various brigades in the Auckland province competed. Results:— Two-men Coupling (Dry).—Hamilton, 1; IV Kuiti, 2; Devonport, 3. Three-men Event—Onehunga, 1; To Kuiti, 2; Devonport; 3. Five-ineu Carry—Te Kuiti, 1; Devonport, 2; Hamilton, 3. Rescue Event.—Onehunga, 1; Te Kuiti, 2; Hamilton, 3. Ladder Race.—Onehunga, 1; Hamilton, 2; Te Kuiti, 3. Disabled Race 'Five Men).—Onehunga, 1: To Kuiti. 2; Hamilton, 3. Hose, Heel .and Ladder.—To Kuiti, 1; Onehunga, 1; Hamilton. 3. Feildinn, October 27. The Labour Party celebrated Labour Day here, by holding an athletic sports meeting. The business people and tho general public co-operated and the gathering was a great success.
