' IMPORTANT CONVENTION IN AMERICA. (Ueo. October 27, 10.20 p.m.) New York, October 25. The Convention of the Episcopal Church, of Amorica, held at Detroit, lias ended after a momentous session. Tho convention adopted an official scheme of reorganisation, which aims at broadening the church's outlook in. social, industrial, and international matters. Tho convention also gave general approval of the movement towards church unity and broadening; the basis of worship, Tvith a revision of the Praver Book.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
