The police have received advice that Ueatrix Gladys Hrailhwnite, a single womun nsed 2.') years, died suddenly at 5 o'clock on Saturday morning at tho resilience of her brother-in-law, Ernest Cook, at JUakara. Tho deceased, who resided with her .parents at .Tolnisonville, suffered from influenza at the time of tho epidemic, and had never proporly recovered. An inquest will be held at !).M a.m. to-morrow. An inciuest will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow on tho death of William Plunkett. an old man of 1)5 years, who was found in his shack at. Island Bay on Friday in an unconscious condition. He was removed to tlio hospital, where he. diod shortly after his admission.
