The Labour group withdrew from the Industrial Conference owing lo tha rejection by tho employers' groups of Mr. Samuel Gompsrs's resolution recognising Labour's right to collective bargaining. The chairman. Mr. Lane, read llie letter of Mr. W. B. AVilson, Secretary for Libour, stating that; the conference must reach a common ground'of understanding, otherwise it will not- be al/oweil to break up. Mr. AVilson will appoint new groups in the event of any withdrawing from the conference.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
