MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING. The Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association met last evening. Mr. C. U.' Wilson presided. Tile matter of arranging tne match awinst ilawke's Bay at Christmas or New I'ear kiw left in the hund6 of tho chairman and secretary. The Town Clerk wrote, notifying that the council had granted the association the use of two wickets at Kelburn Park and two wickets on Anderson Park. The Wellington Coilego Old Boys junior team wrote, jiiotesung against tno laxity shown hy members oi the Thorndon Club in going in to bat last Saturday. It was decided to refer the letter to the Thorndon Club for an explanation. The Wan rami i Association 6ent notice by teleffram that they would most probably be sending a team to Wellington to piay a match on Labour Day. Tho match is to be an all-day one, commencing at (U5 a.m. A representative of the Boys' Institute Old Boys' Club attended, and explained the position of practice wickets. It appears tnat the Boys' Institute has taken charge of tho wickets allotted the Old Boys' Club. It was decided to inform the Director of the Institute and the Old •Boys' Club that as far as the association is concerned the wickets aro allotted to the Old Boys' Club, not to the Boys' Institute Old Boys' Club were granted' permission to enter a team in tho junior B competition. It was decided to nsk tho umpires to enforce rule 45.. This rule deals with the time taken by the incoming batsman to come to the crease after the dismissal of a batsinan. ' .. FIXTURES.
