As the outcome of the mutiny on the oil-tank steamer Marisha, a fireman named Cody was sentenced at the Dorchester Arizes to live years' penal servitude, and Cunnell and Lynch, wlto arc also firemen, to eighteen months.—Aus.N.Z. Cablo Assn. j'A London message dated September 1 said: An exciting story of a mutiny at sea was disclosed when live of the crew of the til-tanker Marisha were charged with several offences. Tho captain 6,lid that the men broached the alcohol cargo and behaved like mailmen. I'hey wanted to hoifct tho red Hag, and rushed him. His revolver had been doctored, and would not fire. The men overpowered him and his wife, who attempted to jump into the sea, but the mate prevented her. The wireless operator called for assistance. An armed party was sent on board, and the mutineers were put in irons.!
