MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
PALMER SHIELD MATCHES. . A second sories of matches has been arranged for the above shield, and during last week the Petone Club (the holders) -met and defeated the Petone Indies, and' the Hutt Club met and defeated the Petone Working Men's Club. These competitions havo given quite a stimulus to miniature shooting in the Hutt Vallev. Kershaw, Hutt, scored the only possible. Following are the scores:— Petone Club—W. Wilson, G8; C.
