THE COMING ELECTIONS
ADDRESS BY KAIAPOI LABOUR • , CANDIDATE. By Telegraph—Press .Association. Christchurch, October 1". • Mr. C. Morgan Williams, Labour, candidate for the Kaiapoi seat, opened his campaign at Kaiapoi,. and received "!? unanimous vote of thajiki and confidence. He said that Sir Joseph Ward's allegro policy had been cribbed "holus-bolus" from tlio Labotir Party, and the'planks so taken had been very badly warded, in the process. Further.-these ideas might have been carried out when Sir Joseph Ward was in power, but nothing of the sort had been done. The fact was that true Liberalism died with the lalo Richard Seddon, and the actual progressive proposals put forward since .that. <ime. had been advocated year after year by the Labour Tarty. _
