The Wairarapa Farmers'' Co-operative Association, Ltd., report having held their weekly sale at Mastertou on Wednesday, when they ottered a heavy yarding of cheep ana cattle to a fair attendance. Competition for sheep was consequently a number of lots vcre not disposed of, but bidding on cattle was keener, and we report a good clearance, quotations being as followSheep--Fat and forward wethers, £2 is. Gd.; eives, with iaml)3 a>, foot, £2 35.; two-loot.li wethers, small, 29a. Id.; ewes aud wethers, 31a. 7d.; cull two-tooth, 12s. 9d. Cattle- Store cows, £5 lis., £6, £6 ls„ £7 Vs., £7 17b.; two-year empty dairy heifers, f/„ £6 is., £6 155., £7 6s.,'£l 10s.; dairy cows, £12, £12 155., £18, to £15; springing dsr.ry heifers, £12 to £18; light fat cows, £9 Jfls. 6d.; twoyear ' steers, £7 lis.; eighteen-month to two-year steern, £5 Ha., J/j ba., to £7.
