r The weekly meeting of the Wellington : I'octbali Association was held last evoa- , Ing at tho Y.M.C.A. Present: Messrs. W. ■ iAuld (chairman), 0. Webster, H. Spolsky, (JV. Duncan, A. E. Weils, L. White, a. pendry, H, Yeoman, H. Godber, and A. .Williams (hon. secretary).. " Hi'. E. Windley, of the Porirua Club, attended tho meetmg with regard to the treatment meted out to Porirua 4th class team with reference to their matoh with Waiist, in which the latter" team played a lad over age. Marist having been awarded the championship, and tho Porirua team not complaining for Bomo feiv weeks after the game, it ivas decided that the committee could not' go back from their previous decision in awarding tho champaonship to Marist, as according to the school register the boy was under age,'although) it was conclusively proved that he wtia three months over age.
Concerning the protest of St. Anne's, Northland, 7th Division, with regard to tho Marist playing boys of the 6th division in. the final of the championship, it was proved that Marist had* played tho four boys in question (no brother being present from tho Marist to tako charge oi tho boys). lAfteir discussion, it was decided unanimously that the 7th Division championship be awarded to St. Anne's, Northland.
Fixtures for Saturday wero arranged as unde.r:—
Senior Cadet Tournament (semi-final)— 81th Co. v. 17th Co., at Porinia, at 2.« p.m., referee Mr. E. Windley. The other match which wns down for Killnrnic last Saturday, and not played will tako_ place at Association Pavlc on Saturday at 2 p.m.; referee Mr. 1). Scott. . Y.M.C.A. v. Y.M.C.A. Old Boys, at AβBooiatiion Park, at 3 p.m., Mr. H. Yeoman.
