Notifliiation was received from the Education Department that Miss Beatrice Wallace had been appointed school nurso in place of Nnrso Faram. ■ ■Advico was received that tho Educar tion Department could not give special consideration in training facilities to those junior teachers, probationers, and training college, fitudonts residing at Petone and Lower Hutt. It was" not considered that any undue inconvenience was being caused to them at tho present time. Mr. Jlarkness said it was hard that sufficient encouragement was not being given to 'young teachers. The letter was received.
