In conseouence of the attitude of the Waziris during tho Afghan War it has been decided to send a punitive expedition axaiii.st Waziristan. Tho operations will mark a new departure in frontier operations. Insi'oad of fighting wit'i infantry, cavalry, and artillery, it is intended to punish the Wazirid by intensive bombing by aeroplanes, a number of which are already concentrated on tho frontier.
