LOSS OF OUTPUT 49,957 TONS.
The following letter in connection with' the coal minee dispute has been rent to the Prime MMsber (Right Hon. W. P. by Mr. W. Pryor, Beereiary of the New Zealand Coal Mine Owners' Aβ6ociation :—
"Advice received from the various coal mines affected gives the undermentioned information as to the decreased output for the week ending TViday, October 10, as a result of the "go-slow" policy:—

Ltd 1,701) Tnupiri Coal Mines, Ltd 1,709 Westport-Storikton Coal Co., Ltd. ... 1,025 Blackball Coal Co., Ltd 947 Hikurangi Coal Co., Ltd 7.15 Piikenuiro Collieries, Ltd 015 Nightcaps Coal Co.. Ltd 358 Vaparon Coal Co., Ltd 820 Wnipn. Railways and Coll-'eries, Ltd. 2!!i> N.Z. Coal and OE Co., Ltd S9 Total .../. 7,744 "Tn addition to the above, there is the wtutintad decrease of the Stale mines of 100i1 tons, making a total for tho week of 8741' torn?, and a total loss of output for the six weeks, during which the "jro-slow" has teen in oporat'on of 49,957 tons."
