SAILORS'. FRIEND SOCIETY

An enjoyable concert was arranged for tho seafarers at the Sailors' Friend Society by Madam Mueller on Tuesday. The crowded audionce was insistent, on encores. The performers were:—Meedumes Mueller, Varo, Cox, Walkor, Harris, Misses M. Gawler, Weston, Har-dinge-Malthy, Troon, Mueller, and Mossre. Culverwell, Waiter, Jenkins, Middleton, and Adams, Masters Ardour Black and Tom George. Mesdames Cox and Vare and Miss M. Gawler wore at tho piano. Mr. Moore spoke on "Out to Win," and pleaded for pledges. Mi?s Mary Kreeft presented buttonholes of spring flowora to each man. Competition prizes came from the hostess, and 'went to the Tainui and Waiwera.
