' INCREASE CAUSING ALARM. —: ■/ (Rec. October 12, 5.5 p.m:) Washington, October 10. Senator Phelan has introduced a Bill providing for the exclusion of Japanese labourers. He asserted that the Japanese population in the United States has frown alarmingly, to the extent of 150,000 in the United States and 110,000 in Hawaii,—Au3.-N,Z, Cable A6sn.
