SUGAR SHORTAGE IN AMERICA

Senator Snioot, in a speech, said that as tho result of tho Govornnitint's failure to obtain control of tho Cuban and Hawaiian sugar crops the United States was facing serious shortage until 1921. One-third of tho Cuban orop had been bought up by/ Britain and tho Hawniian crop by'Japan,—Aub.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
