S, Gray (Dunedin), secretary of tho union, stated that at the last conference it had been decided to givo a war bonus to married ministers whose salaries did not exceed Tho appeal for funds for this purpose had been fruitful to tho extent uf .£315. Ono dpnor of ',£lO suggested that a similar appeal should be made at this conferenec.. The suggestion was acted upon, and he was pleased to state that .£l9O had been collected. It was pointed out that tho Sustentntion Fund was not yet in operation, and tho high cost of living did not assist ministers.
