Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report having held a cle.iriiig Bale of horsce and contracting plant in the Colombo Road yards, Masterton, on account of Mr. James Farrolly. Competition was keen throughout the sale, and very satisfactory prices.were obtained, particularly tor the horses, which were an exceptionally good lot. Following prices wero realised:—Draught horses, £52 10s., £49, £47, £45, £57, £31, £29, £27, £18. Drays made trom £17 to £41. Mossrs.. Dalgcty ; a«d Co..
