The weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association was held last eveniiiif at tho Y.M.C.A., Mr. W. Auld prosiding. The Y.M.C.A. eenior team applied for permission to play tho Y.M.C.A. Olo! Bovs on October IS. The application was emitted, the game to take place on Association Park. St. Anno's, Northland, protested against tho win of Mnrist in .the final for the seventh division championship, played on Saturday Inst, owing to three of the Mnrist team being members of the sixth division. It was decided to ask the captains of both tennis to meet tho committee on Wednesday next. Members of tho Marist teain referred to in the protest are to bo asked to be in attendance. The following team will represent. Wanganui in the Brown Shield' ganio at Athletic l'nrk on Saturday next:—Hyder (goal), Murray and Henley (bucks), Bobson. Gould, E. Beckett; (half-backs), Lowe. Cooper, Tantram, T. Beckett, Woodhnm (forwards). Owing to illness, M'Elligott will bo unable to play for Wellington. Porter will tako his plnco in the forward line. It wns decided to entertain the Wangamii nnd Wellington tennis to dinne/ on. Saturday evening. . It was reported by tho lion, secretary that during the present season .173 championship, G!) cup, 8 Caoct, 28 school, and fiO fiii-n-sido tournament games were played under Association rules.
