SELLING LIQUOR IN "DRY" DISTRICT
, . By Tolcßro-ph—Press Association. Invercargill, October 8. ' .Tames Bassett, of the Woodlands Hotel, pleaded guilty to selling liquor in the. no-license, district of Mataura. A constable stated in evidence that he stayed at the hotel a day or so, and when leaving bought two bottles of beei , for fifteen pence each. The defimdanl was fined £10.
