The inquest was adjourned. , MAN SHOOTS HIMSELF. , Auckland, October 7. At an inquest into the death of Benjamin Melville, who was found shot in tho bathroom of his residence yesterday, a verdict was returned that death was due to a gunshot wound, self-inflicted, while in a state of nervous depression.
