It took no action save to appoint two committees on whioh Labour, Capita:!, and tho public would oach nave three members. Among prominent delegates to tho conference wero Mr. Samuel Compere (president of tho American Federation of Labour), Mr. Rockefeller, junior (Standard Oil Company) and Mr. Gary (Bethleham Steel T rust). Die railway brotherhoods (unions) decided to revise their decision to attend the National Industrial Conference, owing to the grant of representation fiwp President Wlson direct.-Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
