Included in, the prisoners wero 26 who had been brought over after tho hunger strike from Cork Prison, Having failed to secure special treatment, tho prisoners presented an ultimatum expressing a desire for intervention by the chaplain. They carried out the threat contained ii> the ultimatum on the s'troho of midnight, wrecking the cells, breaking the windows and furniture, and smashing the walls, The entire prison staff was engaged'for several hours restoring order.
