SINN FEIN RIOT IN GAOL
A SERIOUS OUTBREAK. (Rec. October 7, 8.10 p.m.) London, October 7. A serious outbreak by forty Sinn Feinor9 at Mount Joy Prison is reported. Included in, the prisoners wero 26 who had been brought over after tho hunger strike from Cork Prison, Having failed to secure special treatment, tho prisoners presented an ultimatum expressing a desire for intervention by the chaplain. They carried out the threat contained ii> the ultimatum on the s'troho of midnight, wrecking the cells, breaking the windows and furniture, and smashing the walls, The entire prison staff was engaged'for several hours restoring order.
