Fair weather may be expected for a brief period in the East Coast districts, but cloudy to overcast conditions elsewhere, and an unfavourable chanze to follow generally. Barometer fall soon, especially in the. south. The barometer has risen,'und strong but decreasing southerly and westerly winds have predominated, llainiell in many parts during Jfonday itight, but conditions have improved generally to-day. B. V.
