OWING to the acute shortage of Housing accommodation, and to the consequent overcrowding taking place in many houses in the City, the City Council desires to facilitate the conversion into temporary dwellings Of such buildings or portions .of buildings as may be suitable for the., purpose. • Owners of buildings which, may be so converted are earnestly requested to communicate .with the-Acting City Engineer, who will have the premises inspected and will advise as to what will be necessary in order to enable the buildings to be used for housing purposes.
