ALLEGED MALPRACTICE

Norman Naylor, a young man, was arrested here yesterday, charged with conspiring at Dunedin on or about September 15 to. procure miscarriage by a young woman from Waimate. A Dunedin chemist, Hayne, and his assistant, Inglis, are also charged with'being concerned in the case. The depositions of the woman wore taken at the public 'hospital to-da.y before Mr. M'Lean, S.M. ' The three accused were remanded to Dunedin to appear on October 14. Bail was fixed in tho following sums: Naylor. .£2OO, -with two sureties of .£2OO each; Inglis, .£2OO, and two sureties of ,£2OO each; Hayne, .£3OO, and two sureties of .£3OO each.
