WOMAN TAKES POISON.
By Telegraph—Prcts Association. Dunedin, October '3. An inquest on the body of Margaret Sullivan, who died at the hospital last night, was held to-day. The medical evidence showed that the deceased was very depressed, her bodily health very poor, and she suffered from nerve trouble. A sister of deceased said the latter had been worried about the loss of her home, which had been sold up by the landlord. 'On Thursday afternoon deceased took por(ion of a bottle of an irritant poison. A verdict was returned that death was due. to heart" failure, followin-f poison, which had been taken while deceased was in a depressed state of mind.
