LAND SALE AT LEVIN
On Thursday Messrs. -Abraham and Williams, Ltd., held a Gale of land, bepart of Mr. Lindsay M'Donald's "Knwiu" estate, and report n good demand for the sections. Bidding was spirited throughout, and the eventual buyers were all fanners in llio neighbourhood of the estate. Mr. liichio Abraham wielded the hammer, and the sales were:—Lot 1, o ■acres, passed; lot 2, -15 acres, to J. li. M'Donald at .£79: lot 3,'53 acres, to W. It. Kolslon. at -£S5 55.; lot -1, 4.4.V acres, to John Collis, at .£75 55.; lot 5, If) acres, lo J. C. Gardner, at £&] 10s.; lot 6; 11 acres, lo J. Luydoii, at 4:88 Ids.; lot i, 38 acres, to li, D. liolslon, at ,£88; lot 8, 35 acres to S. Spencer, at £!i. The whole property made (he high average of it'3l llfc. per acre.
