RETURNING TROOPS
BOAT AND TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. The transport Cordoba, with returning draft No. 278, is'due to arrive at Wellington at I! o'clocktthis' moraine. If ,a "cban ship," the-vessel'will berth at No. 4- Queeii's Wharf ■ at' 10 a.m. to-day. Train'and.■steamer arrangements for the troops are-as follow Details for stations 'bevond Marton to Auckland; including Rotorua' and Thames,' v ill leave Wellington by special train at' 2 p.m. to-morrow. These men'will* be'-billeted on board the transport ' until ,7'a.m. to-morrow, and will have breakfast before disembarking. Midday refreshments will be provided'at the Returned Soldiers' Club, Lambton Quay. Men for stations between Palmerston' -North and New- Plymouth will also be billeted on th'o transport to-night, and will leave for their destinations by the mail train at 8.20 11.111. to-morrow. • Details for places between • Palmerston North. Woodrille, Napier, and Gisborne will depart ,by the Napier mail'train at 9.10 o'clock, to-morrow morning; they will remain on board the Cordoba overnight. Details tor - stations between Wellington and' Manuatninoka will leave from Lambton Railway Station at 2.55 •p.m. to-day. They will be' served with midday , refreshments at' the Returned .Soldiers' Club. Details for beyoiul Masterton will detrain at Mastertori,' where. t'hev will be billeted, and proceed on their journey the following day.
