Mr. Booth, of Messrs., Booth and Mncdonald, Christchurch, who acted in the capacity of judge, .gave his decision in favour of the Wellington Society. Several of the representative business men of Christchurch were present at the debate, and tho visiting members speak in generous terms,of the hospitality extended to them in Christchurch.
