The Steel Trust had persistently overworked the men, though it paid tbom fair wages! Private detectives had prevented the union organisations from taking root. Pittsburg reports state that news from nil parts of the country indicates that tho steel strike has diminished, and that the men are everywhere returning lo work. Mr. Foster, tho men's secretary, states that the situation in unchanged. A-further message states that a general strike of tho Bethlehem Steel Companies' employees has been ordered for Monday.
