SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
A crowded audience met Mr. T. E. Jone3 at lijs popular-, concert on Tuesday at' the Sailors' Ifrieml Society. The following: were encored: Misses Henderson, May Ormond, Peggy Jones, J. Lewis, and. Messrs.' T. E. Jones, Val Jones, iUph, Vrijjht (Amokura), Edmonson (Hororata), and Captain Mnefarlano. Miss Henderson was nt. the piano.. Gifts'ot flowers were received from Watiganui, Nelson, and Wellington. Mr. Moore,, missioner, spoko <on "Bone.-Dry,''f - «tul pledges followed. Prizes caiuo from TVc-1 - lingtoii and Nelson for the competitions, and went to the Amoknra, Tainui, Port Melbourne, and Zealandic. .
