THEFT OF POSTAL PACKETS
J?resa -Association. . Dunedin, September 24. Louio Inglis, a young .woman, appeared at the Police. Court to-day on a charge of stealing two postal packets. Accused, in a statement, said sho had her correspondence addressed to the chief post office, and a" card addressed to Hiss Inglis was delivered to her requesting her to call n.t the parcel office for a parcel. She sisned the wool; niul received two parcels, but on opening them found they were not for her, but sho kept them for some time and was ashamed to take tliein back. Defendant pleaded guilty and was committed for eeutence.
