Br Telegraph—Press Association. Whangarei, September 23. Yesterday afternoon the <iead body of Frederick James Browne was found hanging'm the bush ut Aponga. He was a -single .man, about fifty-seven .rears of age, and .was formerly a Justice of the Peace at Otaki. He had been a sufferer from epileptic fits for a long period. Deceased loft a note,'stating that lie could not endure another seizure, which ho felt was imminent.'

INQUEST ON VICTIM OF A MOTOB ACCIDENT. Dunedin, September 23. The inquest on the body of William Hey, who was killed near Hampden on August-; 24 us the result of.the -capsize of a motor-car, was 'concluded to-day. DEATH OF A PRISONER, Dunedin, September 23. The inquest on the.body of a prisoner named. Cowan, who died in hospital on Sunday, concluded to-day. A verdict of death from heart failure, following bronchial asthma and accelerated by chroma alcoholism, was returned.
