THE MURDERED HOSTAGES OF MUNICH
SIX COMMUNISTS SHOT. Munich, September 21. The execution of six Communists for the murder of hostages was a daring act in view of the strength of the revolutionaries. The prison was surrounded by troops, protected by. artillery, machineguns, and trench mortars. The prisoners were shot separately. The Munich police discovered a plot for shooting all officers and loyalist troops, and the seizure of the barracks.—"The Times."
