Present indications are lor southerly 1 breezes, veering to westerlies, southward of New Plymouth and ■ Castlepoiht, Weather fair to cloudy generally, but' with scattered showers in the West Coast aud' southernmost districts. /Barometer risine in the north, and unsteady in the south. Showers fell in various parts during Monday night, but fair thoutfn cold weather has ruled to-day. , Slung but decreasing southerly winds have prevailed, and -little change in Atmospheric pressure has taken place.
