CALLS AT NAPIER AND GISBORNE. By Tfileeraph.—l'reiw AsnoelMion. . ' Napier, September 22. H.M.S. New Zealand visited. Napier yesterday for about an hour. She did not cbnio alongside the breakwater. A large crowd watched her from the Marine Parade. Gisborne, September 22. Glorious weather favoured, the visit of H.M.S. New Zealand, which '.ailed in the roadstead en route to Auckland, yesterday afternoon. Crowds lined the beaches and hillsides. Large numbers of fichdfllbbjs were taken out in tenders, and cheered the N<nv Zealand as she slowly steamed by. The acting-chairman of tho Harbour Board gave officiil greetings to the Admiral, who expressed regret that the stay of the' warship was t-6 short. As the New Zealand departed the shin's band played "Anld Lsng Syne." ■ ARRIVAL ,AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, September 22. The battle-cruiser New Zealand arrived to-night and' berthed at the Queen's Wharf. Viscount Jellicoe will land tomorrow, when official receptions will be held.
