RETURNED SOLDIERS WELCOMED,

Over 50 returned soldier members of the Loyal Oriinge .Institution were entertained at a "welcome home , ' social and dance tendered by the Wellington District Grand Lodge, in St. Peter's Hall, G'liuznee Sheet, last night. Grand Master 11. Upton presided over the gathering, and' on behalf of the brethren lie extended cordial greetings to the guests of the evening. There was a very large attendance of loigo members, and the proceedings passed off most pleasantly, being interspersed with musical items, recitations, and dancing. The programme was contributed to by Misses Pickett, Snelling, Yeo (songs), Mis» Burns (dance), Messrs It. Moore (song), Patchett, Breaker, and Master W. Knox (recitations).
