STRIKE OF IRONWORKERS
KEY INDUSTRIES AFFECTED. (Rec. September 21, 5.5 p.m.) London, September 20. Fifty thousand ironfounders, coremakers and dressers, representing key industries, have struck for an increase of 16s. a week and 7s. 6d. for apprentices. In the event of prolongation of tho dispute all engineering and boiler/naking thides will inovitably stop—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
