Ramblers matoh, the Ramblers team are the champions for the 1919 season, The looal team to meet Nelson on Monday is as follows: Goal, Hunter (Ramblers); backs, Sherwood (Ramblers), Hw> ks (iiarori) M'lntosh (Karon); halves, M'Gregor (Ifiunblers), Surgenor (Wellington); forwards, Blabkie (Ramblers), Johns (Wellington), Stratton (Karori), Hood (Karon), Champness (Wellington). The following will play for Nelson: Miller, Giblin, Oldershaw, Burt, Perry, Louissou, Chapman, Wilson, Amos, Jellyman, Wells. Manager, Mr. Oldershaw. JUNIORS. \ Huia have been defeated once only this season, and even if again defeated noxt Saturday will still have a load of ono point over Wesley B, and cannot now lose' the ohampionship.' University B and Wesley A are also to meet next Saturday, and the result of this game will decide which of tho a/bovo teams will r&main on the bottom of the ladder. LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. • The ladies' ohampionship goes to Ramblers, who gained a threo-point lead over Wellington Girls' College, the run-ners-up. NELSON v. CANTERBURY. By Telegraph—Prcs« Association. Christchurch, September 20. In tho Challenge Shield hockey match to-day Nelson and Canterbury played a drawn game—three goals each. Canterbury thus retains the shield, and will play Auckland here for it next Saturday.
