THE INTER-CLUB COMPETITIONS. As was the ens© last season, the inteV club competition will be played in ' two sections. The "A"' section will consist of the Uppar Hutt, JohnsonviUo, Wellington>Koiburn, Khnndallah, Ifntailai, Karon, and Island Bay Clubs, and tho "B" section of. tho Newtown, Lyall Bay,' Thomdon, Petone, and Victoria Clubs. The Lower Hutt, Eastbourne, and. Seatoun Clubs do-not figure in these lists. The first' match in the senior inter-club competition will be played between Upper Hutt and JohnsonviUo •on October 25—tho only match on 'that date. All. the clubs will bo engaged on the following Saturday (November' 1), and thereafter every second Saturday. Tho junior pennants have been revived this 6easo'n. They will be played in nirio rounds, commencing on October 25. Tho chibs which have entered areas follow':— Newtown, Lyall Bay, Thomdon, Johnsonville, Victoria, Island Bay, Kelbum, Hataitai, Potone, and Seatonn. Absentee clubs from this competition are: Wellington, Lower Hutt, KlmmlalEau, Eastbourne, and Karori.'
