The concert given by Mrs. A. 1L Lewis nt the Sailors' Friend Society on Thursdav was much enjoyed. Tho following contributed to the programme:—Mesdames A. HI.-Loin's, Finivel, mid IsWster, Misses Orcti Chisholin, Henderson, Frost, Thawlov. M. James, and Messrs.' Bishop, Kevnolds. Austin (Miunari), Porter and Langsler (Athcnie). Mrs. Faiivei and Miss Tlmwlev were nt the piano. llosuilalitv was extended to the men by the hostess. Mr. Moore, missioner, sold the famous iug "gain for a sum that will be sent to tho Mayor of Waiigiinui for relief of the sufferers in tho Tninui disaster.
