The Victoria College Council met on Wednesday. . Mr. E. M'Callum, M.P. presided, in'the. unavoidable'-absence of .Air. C. Watson (chairma of the council). The Finance Committee recommended that the chairman and Mr,. Levi be the rairesentiitives. of the council on the 1920 Kemiion Committee, and that tho action of the chairman in cabling to tho High Commissioner consenting to the postponement .of the date for receiving applications for' the Chair of Economics be approved. The report was adopted, A request from tho Students' Association for new tennis courts was referred to the committee for report,
